At Little Lake you don’t see much precipitation; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Little Lake is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Cedar Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby, and you can take a little visit to Little Lake Dam while you're here at Little Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing       at Marshall Mountain since you're here; since you're here, you could also have a look at beautiful Big Lake. Glacier Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and dry warm beds await you at Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge. The vista of Mosquito Peak from Little Lake is picturesque; hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Lake; Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be                  without some skiing at Montana Snowbowl; the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT offers hiking at its best. At Little Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Little Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. A wonderful location for whitewater paddling near Little Lake is Mill Creek, and there are plenty of people from Missoula here at Little Lake. Man, is there a load of exciting things to do in close proximity to Little Lake.
