Near Little Lake you locate the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and after a long day outdoors Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two. If you're stopping by Little Lake from Missoula, you won't be the only one, and a lake nearby is Glacier Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the BLue Mountain Nature       Trail NRT is always a great adventure; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Missoula-Riverside, Mt is a perfect choice. This place, Little Lake, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. Stay the night at Jellystone RV Park; there are some great whitewater spots on Mill Creek. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Little Lake get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the                  30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Little Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Montana Snowbowl is good, and if you get bored of Little Lake you could also go to close by Big Lake. Little Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Little Lake is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Cedar Campground is a splendid location to camp nearby, and Little Lake Dam is a picturesque place, beyond doubt worth taking a look at.
