This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail, and Canyon Motel is a delightful site to get some rest. Camping at Little Lake is nice fun, Cedar Campground is a nice local campground; you can hit the slopes at Montana Snowbowl in close proximity. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mill Creek; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes       of nearby Marshall Mountain. You could also visit Big Lake if you're here at Little Lake; it's nearby; don't leave Little Lake without first going for a hike along the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some fine folks from Missoula here. At Little Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Little Lake is a glorious location                  to camp, Jellystone RV Park is a glorious location, and the top of Mosquito Peak is easily made out from Little Lake. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Little Lake Dam is not far at all from Little Lake; if you need a place to stay Aspen Motel is a fine choice. Throughout the summertime months at Little Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 40's.
