Little Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Little Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Little Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Throughout the       winter highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Little Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Near Little Lake you locate the Pattee Ridge Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a great spot to camp here at Little Lake is Twin Lakes Campground. Just can't get enough of the Bitterroot Range.
