    In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Little Joe Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Sepulcher Loop Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There's so much to do here at Little Joe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, LaDuke Spring Campground is a fine place for that, and not far from Little Joe Lake you'll locate Cache Lake which is a pretty lake. If you're here at Little Joe Lake, you could visit Deaf  
   Jim Creek; there's whitewater on Mulherin Creek for all you thrill seekers.
If you came to camp Yankee Jim Campground and Picnic Area is a tremendous place to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Aldridge Lake. After a long day outdoors Yellowstone Park North Travelodge is a good place to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of Yellowstone River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the
 
               Sportsman Lake Trail is always a good adventure; at Little Joe Lake you can spot Deaf Jim Knob.
Don't leave Little Joe Lake without first going for a hike along the Fawn Pass Trail, and Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs is a brilliant location to get some rest. Not much rainfall falls here at Little Joe Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the warmest time of the year at Little Joe Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Little Joe Lake are in the 10's.
