This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Stillwater River, and you can spot Granite Range from Little Face Lake. There's so much to do here at Little Face Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Woodbine Campground is a great place for that, and there are some great whitewater spots on Rosebud Creek - West. This lake is so wonderful. So many cool things in the Absaroka Range, just fantastic.       Going for a hike on the Pilot Creek Trail is always a great adventure; close by you come across the Republic Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do in the vicinity of Little Face Lake. Little Face Lake lays in the shadow of the Granite Range, and dry warm beds await you at Big Moose Resort. Little Face Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. Not much rainfall falls here at Little Face                  Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Little Face Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Little Face Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Absaroka Range. There are nice places to discover along the Crazy Mountain Trail; there are other places here than Little Face Lake, for example Arapooash Lake.
