     Montana has many beautiful lakes and Little Bear Lake is one of them. Little Bear Lake gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Going for a hike on the Pole Gulch Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and soar down the rapids of Gallatin River in a kayak. Tom Lay Prairie is a splendid location, and charming scenery and wonderful skiing is what you obtain  
   at Moonlight Basin.
Skiing at Big Sky is one of those things you just ought to do, and if you need a location to stay Bucks T4 Lodge is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Little Bear Lake is a brilliant site to camp, Castle Rock Inn is a brilliant site, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Divide Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Little Bear Lake. Moose Flat Campground is a pleasant campground
 
               here, and close by you come across the Red Rock Trail which is a great hiking trail.
While you're here at Little Bear Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Bozeman, and Gallatin Gateway Inn is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. During the warm days of summer highs here at Little Bear Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Little Bear Lake.
