     Montana has many beautiful lakes and Little Bear Lake is one of them. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in close proximity to Little Bear Lake. Do check out Big Bear Lake in the vicinity of Little Bear Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Bear Lake; Divide Trail is a great local trail. If you need a place to stay Gallatin Gateway Inn is a great choice, and Rat Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore.  
   All through the days of summer here at Little Bear Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 20's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Little Bear Lake tend to be in the 0's.
If you came for an overnight stay Moose Flat Campground is a nice place to camp; the Red Rock Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids
 
               of Gallatin River in a kayak, and a tour to Tom Lay Prairie rejuvenates the spirit. At Little Bear Lake you always meet someone from Bozeman; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Moonlight Basin is pretty near.
After a long day outdoors Bucks T4 Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Yellowstone Alliance Adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Little Bear Lake is right by the Pole Gulch Trail. Around Little Bear Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
