Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 20's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Little Bear Lake tend to be in the 0's. If you came for an overnight stay Moose Flat Campground is a nice place to camp; the Red Rock Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids                  of Gallatin River in a kayak, and a tour to Tom Lay Prairie rejuvenates the spirit. At Little Bear Lake you always meet someone from Bozeman; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Moonlight Basin is pretty near. After a long day outdoors Bucks T4 Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Yellowstone Alliance Adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Little Bear Lake is right by the Pole Gulch Trail.
