Montana has many beautiful lakes and Little Bear Lake is one of them. There's so much to do here at Little Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Yellowstone Alliance Adventure is a great spot for that; nearby you come across the Pole Gulch Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Moonlight Basin since you're here; don’t forget to have a look at Tom Lay Prairie while

| | you're here at Little Bear Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Little Bear Lake. Lots of folks from Bozeman come to Little Bear Lake, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Red Rock Trail. A great close by hotel is Bucks T4 Lodge, and if you came to camp Moose Flat Campground is a nice place to do that. Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. All through the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at Little Bear Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the
20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Little Bear Lake. It is very dehydrated here at Little Bear Lake typically; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February.

Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails.
