You'll need more than a day to look at everything Little Arch Lake has to offer, you can camp at East Rosebud Campground; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not have a look at Arch Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rosebud Creek - West, and you can stay the night at Emerald Lake Campground. Little Arch Lake gets       a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is October. Summertime highs at Little Arch Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Little Arch Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Lower Arch Lake is a good lake near Little Arch Lake, and whitewater                  paddling is brilliant on Rosebud Creek - East. The snow is magnificent at Red Lodge Mountain; the Lake Reno Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Absaroka Range. The top of Mount Hole-in-the-Wall is easily seen from Little Arch Lake, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. This location, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors exciting things.
