Lakes are tremendous; Page Lake is a lake that's close to Lion Lake, and why not head up to Discovery Ski and strap some skis to your feet. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lion Lake. While you're here at Lion Lake you can take a hike       along the Hiline Trail; the summit of Rainbow Mountain can be made out from Lion Lake. Lion Lake gets very little precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a brilliant location to spend a night or two, and Spillway Campground is a wonderful local campground. If the weather is tremendous                  here at Lion Lake, you can go for a hike along the Alder Creek Trail. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Hi Line Trail, and obviously, this is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes, Flower Lake is a lake around here. Through the summer at Lion Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
