Lion Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Lion Lake. If you haven’t been to Glacier National Park, you must schedule some time for it since you're here, and if you came for an overnight stay North Lion Lake Campground is a fine place to camp. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lion Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to

| | the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while Lion Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Bad Rock B&B is a good choice, and there are other places here than Lion Lake, for example Hungry Horse Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Flathead River - Middle Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and getting to Abbot Creek from Lion Lake is trouble-free. | |

This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Going for a hike along the Columbia Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. If the weather is brilliant
here at Lion Lake, you can go for a hike along the Alpine Trail; South Lion Lake Campground is a great campground nearby. So many enjoyable things to do in the Lewis Range, not enough time. Lakes? Sure, Lion Lake is in the vicinity;
while you're here you can take a hike along the Doris Creek Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Lewis Range. If you're here at Lion Lake, checking out Devils Elbow is a must; in the event that you don't mind getting
soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. At Lion Lake you can see Lion Hill, and there are plenty of folks from Kalispell here. Lion Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month
of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. You don’t have to go far from Lion Lake to see the water at Lion Lake North Dike Dam; dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel.
