Go to Lion Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Throughout the summer months at Lion Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lion Lake descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. | | time for it if you're here, and Lion Hill is easy to spot from Lion Lake. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. Don't leave Lion Lake without first checking out Devils Elbow; there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Doris Creek Trail.

paddling spot close by. These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable things to do in the Lewis Range. On a glorious day at Lion Lake you can take a hike along the Columbia Mountain Trail, and Lion Lake is a delightful spot
to camp, South Lion Lake Campground is a delightful spot.
This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Lion Lake close to Lion Lake, it's a stunning lake, and swing by Abbot Creek it's a great place to go to. Whitewater paddling is great
on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and if you need a place to stay Glacier Cabins is a fine choice. The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful.
Lion Lake is a good location of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year
November is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Do visit Lion Lake North Dike Dam if you're here at Lion Lake, and camping at Lion Lake is tremendous fun, North Lion Lake Campground is a tremendous local
campground. Just can't get enough of Lion Lake. Near Lion Lake you stumble on the Alpine Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Middle Fork Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest.
