Lion Lake is located in the Lewis Range. A brilliant nearby hotel is Glacier Park Super 8 Motel, and why not stop by Lion Lake North Dike Dam since you're here. Get dripping wet paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork; you get a brilliant view of Lion Hill from here. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lion Lake; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the       least moisture. And if that's not enough there's a load more fun stuff to do in the Lewis Range. A brilliant site to camp here at Lion Lake is North Lion Lake Campground; while you're here, you could also have a look at charming Lion Lake. Abbot Creek flows through this vicinity, and do pop by Lion Lake, it's a stunning lake. Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. The Doris Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and Bad Rock B&B is a tremendous location                  to get some rest. What a place this is for outdoors folks. If you want to have a look at some out of the ordinary stuff, have a look at Devils Elbow. Summertime highs at Lion Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lion Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lion Lake; Columbia Mountain Trail is a great local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things next to Lion Lake. Why not camp at South Lion Lake Campground while you're here at Lion Lake, and Glacier National Park is a great national park. This lake is so wonderful.
