What a nice lake Lion Lake is. But wait, there's more to do next to Lion Lake. Lion Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. This place, Lion Lake, it simply has so much outdoors fun stuff. A scenic lake like Hungry Horse Reservoir near Lion Lake is a magnificent location to explore, and at Lion Lake you always meet someone from Kalispell.
If the weather is good here at Lion Lake, you can go for a hike along the Alpine Trail, and some of the water

| | close by flows, like Abbot Creek. The yearly rainfall here at Lion Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during November while July is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Lion Lake tend to be in the 10's.
