Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hiline Trail, and why not take a little tour to Roberts Creek if you're here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lion Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pintler Campground, and       McCormick Park is a pretty spot any time of year. Yeah, come here to Lion Lake for a good time. There's so much to do here at Lion Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mussigbrod Campground is a pleasant place for that, and the slopes of Discovery Ski are so inviting noone can resist. High temperatures at Lion Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the                  30's, and night lows throughout the winter for Lion Lake tend to be in the 0's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lion Lake; Grassy Lake Trail is a wonderful local trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Pintler Lake.
