    Go to Line Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Line Lake has to offer, you can camp at Parkside Campground, and Red Lodge Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. Summertime highs at Line Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Line Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.  
   Go for a hike on the Custer National Forest Trail, and do have a look at Greenough Lake, it's a stunning lake.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Rock Creek. There's so much to do here at Line Lake that you need to camp here for a while, M-K Campground is a wonderful place for that. Yeah, come up here to the
 
               Absaroka Range for a brilliant time. Comfort Inn Red Lodge is a magnificent place to get some rest.
From a rainfall point of view Line Lake is a quite common site; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Yodeler Motel is a delightful choice; splendid hiking is available along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. So much entertaining stuff to do at Line Lake, so little time. A pleasant journey to Line Creek Plateau is a great way to spend an afternoon, and paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun.
