While you're here at Lilly Lake you can take a hike along the Gould Helmville Trail; great skiing awaits you at Great Divide. Lilly Lake gets very little rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Having a fine time at Lilly Lake is uncomplicated. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Sweeney Creek Ecology Trail, and Kinney Gulch       is unquestionably a good location to go to. Lilly Lake is a great place to camp, Cromwell Dixon Campground is a great place; Earth Angel Mine is a good site to get some rest. For the period of the long summer days here at Lilly Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lilly Lake temperatures                  fall to the 10's. Hiking along the Bear Gulch Trail is good fun, and a fine nearby hotel is Last Chance Motel. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lilly Lake has to offer, you can camp at MacDonald Pass Campground, and why not a little side tour to Elliston Creek.   Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge, Deer Lodge 21 miles away Historical District.
