Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Lightning Lake reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Lightning Lake through the wintertime mostly drop into the 10's. Around Lightning Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; all through the month of May                  you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Lightning Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Boulder River offers some splendid whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. This is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes. Chalice Lake is a lake close at hand. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lightning Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chippy Park Campground.
