If you come at the right time of year, Grave Creek offers some nice whitewater. Lakes are pleasant; Glen Lake is a lake that's right next door to Lick Lake. At Lick Lake you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls through June; March meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so       wonderful. Barton Creek is near Lick Lake and is always a delight to pop by, and the Mount Marston National Recreation Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Sunday Creek, and if you came to camp Big Therriault Campground is a great location to do that. Summertime highs at Lick Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures                  at Lick Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. All the outdoors enjoyable things right next door to Lick Lake will keep you coming back again and again.
