If you are in Lincoln county it's always a good idea to stop by Libby Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Rock Creek Meadows are glorious to take a look at, and the summit of Elephant Peak can be made out from Libby Lakes. For the duration of the summer months at Libby Lakes highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours

| | in the winter at Libby Lakes temperatures plunge to the 10's. So much cool stuff to do here in the Cabinet Mountains, too nice to be true. You could also take a look at Isabella Lake since you're here at Libby Lakes; it's nearby, and there are glorious locations to explore along the Goat Peak Trail. to stay Trout Creek Motel & RV Park is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Turner Mountain, and going for a hike on the Engle Lake Trail is always a perfect adventure. Now, you may imagine
that's lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Libby Lakes. Libby Lakes is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Trout Creek Campground is a delightful local campground, and after a long day outdoors Noxon Motel
is a great spot to spend a night or two. All year is a great time in the Cabinet Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Near Libby Lakes you stumble on the Engle Peak Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Vermilion
River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Libby Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Cabinet Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kootenai River, and Saint Paul
Pass is close at hand, and is a nice place. From a precipitation point of view Libby Lakes is a reasonably typical spot; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July.
