Lake Levinsky is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you get bored of Lake Levinsky, you could also explore nearby Ulerys Lakes, and after a long day outdoors River Rock Lodge is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. at Big Sky Dam in the vicinity of Lake Levinsky. The skiing at Moonlight Basin is splendid, and Gallatin River is a good whitewater spot close by. If you came for an overnight stay McGill Campground is a fine place to camp, and
a day on the slopes of Big Sky is just what you need. Lake Levinsky is mostly a pretty dried out spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest.
