    The beauty of Lake Levinsky is reason enough to stop by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Eldridge Trail. Summertime highs at Lake Levinsky mostly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Levinsky. Lake Levinsky is pretty waterless frequently; May is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is  
   the driest.
Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Wapiti Creek Trail, and Elkhorn is a wonderful campground nearby. You'll discover a striking lake called Summit Lake near Lake Levinsky, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Sky is pretty near. This lake is so wonderful. McGill Campground is a great local campground; there are some good whitewater spots on Gallatin River.
So much enjoyable stuff right next door to Lake Levinsky, just mind-blowing.
 
               The scenery at Big Sky Dam in the vicinity of Lake Levinsky is charming, and the skiing at Moonlight Basin is tremendous. After a long day outdoors Beaverhead is a brilliant location to spend a night or two, and if you're popping by from Bozeman, you won't be the only one. Arrowhead is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Lightning Creek Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Spanish Lakes next to Lake Levinsky, it's a gorgeous lake, and there's whitewater on Gallatin River for all you adrenaline people.
