Lava Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Big Sky is a wonderful local ski area, and Big Sky Resort is a delightful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hoodoo Cascade is an inspiring site to have a look at while you're here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Wapiti Ridge Trail. The skiing at Moonlight Basin is brilliant; a lake nearby is Cascade Lakes. There's fine hiking along the Divide Trail, and people from

| | Bozeman love to come here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Gallatin River, and the Eldridge Trail offers hiking at its best. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of Lava Lake. A magnificent site to camp here at Lava Lake is Castle Rock Inn, and Jumbo Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. At Lava Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is a
little cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lava Lake.
