At Lappi Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lappi Lake. Lappi Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Lappi Lake is Larry Creek Campground, and going for a hike on the       Carlton Lake Trail is always a splendid adventure. Around Lappi Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do right next door to Lappi Lake. There are other places here than Lappi Lake, for example Peterson Lake; get dripping wet paddling on Kootenai Creek. At Lappi Lake you can catch a sight of Saint Joseph Peak; dry warm beds await you at                  Lolo-Days Inn Missoula South/Blue Mountain. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Bitterroot Range. Lappi Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Charles Waters Memorial Campground is a wonderful local campground, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Saint Mary Peak Trail. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Bitterroot Range. Lakes? Sure, Sweeney Lake is close at hand; soar down the rapids of White Sand Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
