plunge to the 10's. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Bitterroot Range. The top of Saint Joseph Peak is easily spotted from Lappi Lake, and whitewater paddling
is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend White Sand Creek. Not much rainfall falls here at Lappi Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so
wonderful. All year is a pleasant time in the Bitterroot Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Days Inn And Suites Lolo is a delightful place to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Peterson Lake is in close proximity.

 | 13 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore.
