So much enjoyable stuff to do at Lamoose Lake, so little time. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Flathead River - Middle Fork; Glacier National Park is a brilliant place nearby. Near Lamoose Lake you hit upon the Alpine Trail which is a great hiking trail; the peak of Hash Mountain can be seen from Lamoose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Doris Point Campground since you're here       at Lamoose Lake, and after a long day outdoors Bad Rock B&B is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Jimmie Ridge Trail is always a wonderful adventure; Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great spot to get some rest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Lewis Range has to offer. There's whitewater on Swan River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and there are other locations                  here than Lamoose Lake, for example Harbin Lake. The yearly precipitation here at Lamoose Lake is about average; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. Summertime highs at Lamoose Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Lamoose Lake. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Lewis Range is excellent! Otila Basin is a great place, and there are fine spots to look at along the Doris Creek Trail.
