If you love the outdoors, you'll adore Lamoose Lake. Hash Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Lamoose Lake, and a glorious place like Otila Basin here at Lamoose Lake is too great to miss. During the warm months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Lamoose Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the       winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lamoose Lake are in the 10's. Lamoose Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. Lamoose Lake is not the only place nearby, Strawberry Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Swan River, needless to say you could also stop by Beta Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the Lewis Range.                  While you're here at Lamoose Lake you can take a hike along the Alpine Trail, and if you need a place to stay Glacier Mountain Lodge is a great choice. So much cool stuff to do here in the Lewis Range, too glorious to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Glacier Park/Columbia Falls. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lamoose Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lost Johnny Campground. From a rain point of view Lamoose Lake is a reasonably normal location; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lamoose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Doris Point Campground is a glorious spot for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some brilliant whitewater.
