For the duration of the days of summer at Kneaves Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Kneaves Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. There's great hiking along the Butte Cabin Ridge Trail, and camping at Cutoff Gulch Campground is always a great experience. This lake       is so wonderful. Kneaves Lake is not the only place close by, Fool Hen Lake is a close by lake; don't leave Kneaves Lake without first going for a hike along the Quigg Peak Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kneaves Lake; Hogback Ridge Trail is a great local trail, and after a long day outdoors Stevensville Hotel is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. A brilliant close by hotel is Burnt Fork Guesthouse, and the summit of Palisade Mountain                  can be seen from Kneaves Lake. At Kneaves Lake you don’t see much rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. Yeah, come here to Kneaves Lake for a perfect time.
