All through the days of summer at Knaack Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Knaack Lake. Knaack Lake is in the       vicinity of Sears Dam which is a beautiful place without doubt worth checking out, and get yourself into a kayak and hit White Sand Creek. So many cool things in the Bitterroot Range, just striking. A lake close by is Aichele Lake, and Knaack Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Blodgett Canyon Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Knaack Lake you can take a hike along the Ward Mountain                  Trail, and Townhouse Inn of Hamilton is a good location to get some rest. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Bitterroot Range. On a good day at Knaack Lake you can take a hike along the Saint Mary Peak Trail, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a great choice. So many exciting things to do here at Knaack Lake, too splendid to be true. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Big Sand Creek, and Lost Trail is a tremendous local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Castle Crag is an exciting site to take a look at while at Knaack Lake, of course you could also go to Garrard Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range.
