At Kickinghorse Reservoir through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the       50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Kickinghorse Reservoir. There's perfect hiking along the Crow Creek Trail; a fine close by hotel is Bayview Inn Budget Host Polson. If you need a place to stay Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast is a pleasant choice, and Mission Mountain Country Club is a glorious golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
