    Do stop by Kelly Reservoir while you're in this part of Montana. Take a hike on the Dry Fork Trail, and at Kelly Reservoir you can see Flatiron Mountain. You could also take a look at Red Lake since you're here at Kelly Reservoir; it's close by. All through the days of summer at Kelly Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the  
   10's overnight here at Kelly Reservoir.
Kelly Reservoir is pretty dry generally; during June this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Kelly Reservoir is right by the Hyde Creek Trail, and you can take a little trip to Klatt Dam if you're here at Kelly Reservoir. Stay the night at South Madison Campground, and if you're here, you could go to Alpine Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Gazelle Creek Pack Trail
 
               is tremendous fun, and Kelly Reservoir is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Clover Meadows Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby. You definitely ought to adore Kelly Reservoir. Kelly Reservoir is not the only spot nearby, Wall Creek Lake is a nearby lake; the snow is wonderful at Big Sky.
