This lake is located in the wonderful Pioneer Mountains. Places like Kearns Basin are fine to go to; you don’t have to go far from Kelly Reservoir to catch a sight of the water at Kelly Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Dillon is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and Best Spring is a perfect local attraction. Bear Gulch is a perfect place to go to       nearby. It is very dehydrated here at Kelly Reservoir typically; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not explore nearby Cat Creek since you're here at Kelly Reservoir, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Beaverhead. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Pioneer Mountains. The Driveway Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lake nearby is Estler Lake.                  Summertime at Kelly Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's.
