If you are in Park county it's always a good idea to stop by Kaufman Lake. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Absaroka Range is unbeatable! If you need a place to stay Murray Hotel is a magnificent choice. If you get bored of Kaufman Lake, you could also check out nearby Silver Lake, and going for a hike along the Pyramid Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Absaroka Range. There's so much to do here at Kaufman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hells Canyon Campground is a great location for that, and after a long day outdoors Livingston Super 8 Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two. the Sidehill Trail, and Boulder River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really plentiful here at Kaufman Lake. If the weather is magnificent here at Kaufman Lake, you can go for a hike
along the Wallace Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Boulder River.
Kaufman Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Hicks Park Campground, and the peak
of Boulder Mountain can be seen from Kaufman Lake. Summertime highs at Kaufman Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Kaufman Lake dip into the 10's.
