     The beauty of Katoya Lake attracts many people from all around. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Lewis Range. If you're here, you might as well pop by Cut Bank Pass, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Upper Two Medicine Trail. But wait, there's more to do next to Katoya Lake. Looking for a great journey? Glacier National Park is rather in the neighborhood of Katoya Lake; there's great hiking along the Cut Bank Pass Trail. High  
   temperatures at Katoya Lake through the summer are in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Katoya Lake.
Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not go to Boy Lake in the neighborhood of Katoya Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Swift Current Motor Inn. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. An average amount of rain falls at Katoya Lake;
 
               most of the snow falls during December while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. Flinsch Peak is a peak you can see from Katoya Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by, and the Pitamakan Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. So much amusing stuff in the Lewis Range, just incredible. If you came for an overnight stay Cut Bank Campground is a fine place to camp; after a long day outdoors Rising Sun Motor Inn is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
Paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork is so much fun, and Two Medicine Campground is a pleasant campground here.
