    It's always fun to stop by Katoya Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a delightful visit? Glacier National Park is relatively close to Katoya Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Katoya Lake; Upper Two Medicine Trail is a delightful local trail. Don't leave Katoya Lake without first going for a hike along the Cut Bank Pass Trail, and if you've had enough of Katoya Lake, Morning Star Lake is nearby.

   precipitation here at Katoya Lake is about average; December is the wettest month with most snow, and April on the other hand is the driest. Having a pleasant time in the Lewis Range is easy. Flinsch Peak is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Katoya Lake, and you can run the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork. Katoya Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range.

               be. Katoya Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Cut Bank Campground is a perfect local campground, and Katoya Lake is not the only place close by, Pitamakan Lake is a close by lake. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Lewis Range. There's great hiking along the Pitamakan Pass Trail, and there's whitewater on Bear Creek for all you adrenaline people. High temperatures at Katoya Lake during the warm months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Katoya Lake.
A great place to camp here at Katoya Lake is Two Medicine Campground; close by Cut Bank Pass is a nice place to go.
