This place, Kathy Lake, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Kathy Lake you obtain some glorious water scenery at Jessup Mill Pond Dam, and Mountain Crossroads Restaurant & Golf Club is a golf course close by. A short visit to 28N20W23BABC01 Spring is always worthwhile; there are good spots to discover along the Doris Creek Trail. All year is a great time in the Lewis Range if
you go for the outdoors. Big Fork Timbers Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and don't leave Kathy Lake without first going for a hike along the Alpine Trail. If you need a spot to stay Mc Cabe's Mountain Inn is a good choice,
and great hiking is available along the Columbia Mountain Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Brown Creek since you're here at Kathy Lake, and there are other places here than Kathy Lake, for example Amy Lake.
Through the long summer days highs here at Kathy Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures
at Kathy Lake dip into the 10's. At Kathy Lake you don’t see much rain; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
