The beauty of Lake Kathleen attracts many people from all around. Go for a hike on the Poacher Trail, and lakes are such calm places, why not explore Horseshoe Lake. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Kathleen. Camping at Lake Kathleen is fine fun, Hells Canyon Campground is a fine local campground. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Absaroka Range. A nice nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel Big Timber, and

This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Kathleen without first going for a hike along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail, and why not camp at Hicks Park Campground if you're here at Lake Kathleen. Going for a hike on the Buffalo Plateau Trail is always a good adventure, and of course Rainbow Creek flows through this region.
