     If you need a location to stay Super 8 West Yellowstone is a pleasant choice, and Beaver Creek Campground 2 is a great local campground. Going for a hike on the Little Wapiti Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn WEST YELLOWSTONE. This lake is so wonderful. Moonlight Basin is a tremendous local ski area; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Madison River. Juncus Lake is a location that is relatively dry  
   typically; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is January.
At Juncus Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Juncus Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Juncus Lake you stumble on the Cabin Creek Divide Trail which is a good hiking trail, and not far
 
               from Juncus Lake you'll stumble on Axolotl Lake which is a delightful lake.
There's whitewater on Madison River for all you adrenaline kick people, and do have a look at Forest Creek since you're here at Juncus Lake. Everybody close by loves skiing at Big Sky; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Kirkwood Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Juncus Lake has to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Minnie Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Cabin Creek Campground is a good place to camp.
