Go to Juncus Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Juncus Lake is frequently a reasonably dry place; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. If you come at the right time of year, Madison River offers some great whitewater, and the skiing at Big Sky is fine. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Juncus Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's.

| | The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows during the winter for Juncus Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Juncus Lake, for example Hebgen Lake; going for a hike on the Kirkwood Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Creek Campground 2 is a fine place to camp; you can go for a hike on the Cabin Creek Divide Trail. | |

Camping is available at Cabin Creek Campground, and some nearby water includes Forest Creek. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Madison River; nice hiking is available along the Little Wapiti Creek Trail. Hebgen Reservoir is a
great lake close to Juncus Lake; if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort West Yellowstone Conference is a tremendous choice. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would
be. A day on the slopes of Moonlight Basin is just what you need; Super 8 Motel - West Yellowstone is a great place to get some rest.
