If you are traveling by, why not stop by Jumbo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Moonlight Basin is a splendid local ski area, and from Jumbo Lake you obtain a brilliant panorama of Jumbo Mountain. You can run the rapids of Gallatin River close to Jumbo Lake, and a magnificent site to camp here at Jumbo Lake is Elkhorn. A splendid close by hotel is Rainbow Ranch Lodge; while you're here you can take a hike along the Divide Trail.

Everybody nearby loves skiing at Big Sky, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Eldridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Castle Rock Inn is always a nice experience, and do put some time aside to spend at Hoodoo Cascade
if you're here at Jumbo Lake. Not much rain falls here at Jumbo Lake; most of the rain falls through May while February is generally the driest month. This is a perfect region for people who like lakes. Cascade Lakes is a lake nearby; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Wapiti Ridge Trail.
