Don't leave Josephine Lake without first going for a hike along the Mount Henry Trail, and going to Glacier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Do stop by Horse Lake in close proximity to Josephine Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and Red Eagle Campground is a brilliant local campground. | | summer at Josephine Lake highs are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Josephine Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Boundary Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Firebrand Campgrounds is a great spot to camp. It is very arid here at Josephine Lake typically; most of the rain falls through June; February meanwhile is the driest month. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
