But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. At Jorden Lake you can catch a glimpse of Crazy Mountain. Jorden Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Near Jorden Lake you stumble on the Crazy Mountain Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; camping at Lake Creek Campground       is always a good experience. Having a perfect time in the Absaroka Range is easy. Camping is available at Crazy Creek Campground; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rosebud Creek - West. There is a perfect hiking trail close to Jorden Lake called the Copeland Lake Trail; a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. A gorgeous lake like Hatchet Lake in the vicinity of                  Jorden Lake is a fine place to go to, and going for a hike on the Lake Reno Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Summertime at Jorden Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's while Jorden Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. You completely have to like Jorden Lake.
