While you're here at Johnson Lake, you could also take a look at pretty Peterson Lake, and great hiking is available along the Jimmie Ridge Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Bigfork Harbor is in the neighborhood and always wonderful to stop by; the scenery at Big Fork Dam is beautiful. Johnson Lake is a location that is rather arid commonly; June is the wettest month with most rain,       and the driest month is February. Abbot Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and going for a hike on the Alpine Trail is always a great adventure. During the summertime months highs here at Johnson Lake reach the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Johnson Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. If you need                  a site to stay Best Western White Oak Grand is a tremendous choice, and whitewater paddling is good on Flathead River - Middle Fork. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Johnson Lake. Glacier National Park is a great local destination here at Johnson Lake, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swan River. Rv Timbers Park is a tremendous campground nearby; near Johnson Lake you find a golf course called Eagle Bend Golf Club. You should certainly visit gorgeous Long Beach if you're here at Johnson Lake, and lots of folks from Kalispell come here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Bigfork Campground is a great location to camp, and you can go for a hike on the Doris Creek Trail.
