Having a fine time in the Lewis Range is trouble-free. Not far from Johns Lake, you'll hit upon Fish Lake which is a delightful lake, and Glacier National Park is a good location nearby. Looking for some flowing water?       Try Midget Creek, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork. An average amount of rainfall falls at Johns Lake; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. And that's not all you can do here at Johns Lake.
