    If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Johns Lake. There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people, and camping at Johns Lake is great fun, Avalanche Campground is a great local campground. Having a fine time in the Lewis Range is trouble-free. Not far from Johns Lake, you'll hit upon Fish Lake which is a delightful lake, and Glacier National Park is a good location nearby. Looking for some flowing water?  
   Try Midget Creek, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork.
An average amount of rainfall falls at Johns Lake; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. And that's not all you can do here at Johns Lake. McDonald Falls is an inspiring site to check out while you're here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Brown Lookout Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

               lake is so wonderful. Johns Lake is right by the Snyder Ridge Trail, and why not camp at Sprague Creek Campground while you're here at Johns Lake. The warmest time of the year at Johns Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Johns Lake through the winter generally fall into the 10's. The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Lewis Range has to offer. Hiking along the Avalanche Trail is nice fun, and dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel.
