    If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Johns Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Lewis Range, not enough time. Take a hike on the Snyder Ridge Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. So many amusing things to do at Johns Lake, so little time. McDonald Falls is always fun to check out; if you came for an overnight stay Sprague Creek Campground  
   is a glorious location to camp. Lakes are perfect; Upper Snyder Lake is a lake that's near Johns Lake, and hiking along the Avalanche Trail is tremendous fun.
This site, the Lewis Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Flathead River - Middle Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot near Johns Lake; Avalanche Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. For the duration of the summertime here at Johns Lake,
 
               high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Johns Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
Johns Lake is a good site of normal rain; most of the rain falls during November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. It's a glorious idea to go to Midget Creek, it's next to Johns Lake, and Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a fine site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Johns Lake, you'll come across Trout Lake which is a striking lake, and Johns Lake is right by the Mount Brown Lookout Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a tour to Glacier National Park since you're here at Johns Lake.
