Jenny Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Lewis Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Doris Lakes is close to Jenny Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jenny Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Blaine Resort Campground. The peak of Blaine Mountain can be seen from                  Jenny Lake; a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Swan River. From a rain point of view Jenny Lake is a relatively typical spot; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. If you haven’t been to Glacier National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Columbia Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Jenny Lake you can take a hike along the Alpine Trail; if you're a golfer then a delightful nearby course is Mountain Crossroads Restaurant & Golf Club. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Fawn Lake is one of those close by, and Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a glorious location to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Jenny Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Jenny Lake. That right there is heaps of fun things already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all.
