     Summertime highs at Jawbone Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Jawbone Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. Good hiking is available along the Crazy Lakes Trail; Jawbone Lake is not the only location close by, Mystic Lake is a close by lake. This location, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors  
   amusing stuff. At Jawbone Lake you can observe Pyramid Mountain, and a lake close by is Ram Lake.
Jawbone Lake gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. At Montana Power Dam near Jawbone Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and camping at Pine Grove Campground is always a great experience. So many entertaining things
 
               to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. Head up to Red Lodge Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and there are great places to explore along the Crazy Mountain Trail.
The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Jawbone Lake has to offer. If you came to camp Emerald Lake Campground is a nice spot to do that, and glide down the rapids of Rosebud Creek - West in a kayak.
Go for a hike on the Lake Reno Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Stillwater River offers some brilliant whitewater.
