On a delightful day at Jasper Lake you can take a hike along the Lodgepole Trail; if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Big Timber is a nice choice. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Absaroka Range. Boulder River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by; you can stay the night at Woodbine Campground. Jasper Lake       beyond doubt is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Lightning Creek is a glorious local stream; Lightning Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. There's so much to do here at Jasper Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mc Leod Resort is a magnificent place for that, and Tumble Mountain is clearly visible from Jasper Lake. Jasper Lake is pretty dried up frequently; most of the rain falls during May, and February is when it's the driest.                  Jasper Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Jasper Lake, you could also go to gorgeous Saderbalm Lake, and going for a hike on the Republic Trail is always a magnificent adventure. For the period of the summertime months at Jasper Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Jasper Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
