It's always fun to stop by Jasper Lake. Jasper Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range, too good to be true. Have a great hiking adventure along the Beauty Lake Trail; Old Crow Agency is a good place to get some rest. The amount of precipitation that falls at Jasper Lake is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here; October is the month with the least moisture.

| | If you love the outdoors, you'll adore Jasper Lake. If you need a spot to stay Cary Inn is a splendid choice; hiking along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail is magnificent fun. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Jasper Lake; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Upper Granite Loop
Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Jasper Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beartooth Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Red Lodge Mountain is
a great local ski area; whitewater paddling is good on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River.
All year is a glorious time in the Absaroka Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Jasper Lake that you
need to camp here for a while, Island Lake Campground is a glorious place for that; the view of pretty Lonesome Mountain is tremendous.
