The beauty of James Lake is reason enough to stop by. Why not take a look at Bandy Reservoir Dam while you're here, and you can go for a hike on the Center Ridge Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful.
That right there is a load already, but it carries on; James Lake has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Upsata Lake Guest Ranch, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Bandy Reservoir is one of those close by.

| | These mountains rock, just explore all the cool things to do in the Lewis Range. Going for a hike on the Dunham Lodgepole Trail is always a delightful adventure, and tremendous hiking is available along the Dunham Trail. At James Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the snow falls during January, and July on the other hand is the driest.

want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything James Lake has to offer, you can camp at Russell Gates Memorial Campground; if you need a place to stay Kosy
Kountry is a great choice. All through the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at James Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is
down all through the winter temperatures at James Lake dip into the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Monture Creek Campground, and Blackfoot River - North Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.
