J D Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. J D Reservoir is a location that is quite dried up mostly; the month with most of the rain is May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime at J D Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's while J D Reservoir night low temperatures throughout

J D Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Montana Gulch Campground is a delightful local campground, and a tremendous place close by is Dry Gulch. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Old Musselshell Trail, and if you're here, you could also visit wonderful Pearl Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. There's so much to do here at J D Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Buckhorn Store - cabins and RV Park is a pleasant location for that.
Take a hike on the Wilder Trail, and you'll come across a delightful lake called Waydown Reservoir.
