Going for a hike on the Park Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure, and you're perhaps addicted to lakes, Striped Elk Lake is one of those nearby. On a pretty day you acquire a view of Battlement Mountain from Lake Isabel, and as expected, this is a fine region for people who like lakes, Aurice Lake is a lake in the vicinity. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever want       to go home again. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and if you came to camp Two Medicine Campground is a magnificent site to do that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. For the duration of the long summer days here at Lake Isabel, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently                  in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Isabel are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Isabel without first going for a hike along the Upper Two Medicine Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Isabel that you need to camp here for a while, Devil Creek Campground is a tremendous location for that. That right there is plenty of amusing things already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. There are pleasant locations to discover along the West Dawson Pass Trail. Lake Isabel is a good place of typical precipitation; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. What a place this is for outdoors folks.
