If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Indian Knife Lake. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Indian Knife Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Cary Inn; the panorama of pretty Crazy Mountain is pleasant. If you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone River offers some great whitewater, and Red Lodge Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff. So many enjoyable

This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rain that falls at Indian Knife Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all there is to do here in the Absaroka Range. | |

Going for a hike on the Lake Reno Trail is always a great adventure, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Indian Knife Lake has to offer, you can
camp at Lake Creek Campground, and nearby you find the Crazy Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Indian Knife Lake get
into the 70's with night lows in the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Indian Knife Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Copeland Lake Trail, and lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Anchor Lake.
