All through the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Imelda Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 30's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Imelda Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The       Crazy Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best; if you came for an overnight stay Soda Butte Campground is a wonderful site to camp. At Imelda Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yeah, come up here to the Absaroka Range for a fine time. Wolf Voice Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Big Timber.                  Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. The view of pretty Big Mountain near Imelda Lake is tremendous, and if you get bored of Imelda Lake you could also take a look at nearby Glacier Green Lake. Just can't get enough of Imelda Lake. Good hiking is available along the Republic Trail, and a splendid spot for whitewater paddling is Stillwater River. This lake is so wonderful. Imelda Lake is located in the Absaroka Range.
