Icefloe Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up typically; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. If you came to camp Mission Falls Campground is a great spot to do that, and why not take a little tour to Middle Fork Mission Creek while you're here. This lake is       so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Marshall Mountain, and hey, Gotta ski right? Montana Snowbowl is a perfect location to do that. A splendid vista of striking Glacier Peaks is available from Icefloe Lake, and Lake of the Clouds is a great lake close by. A pretty lake like Picture Lake right next door to Icefloe Lake is a glorious spot to stop by; close by you hit upon Lone Tree Pass which is a great place to check out. Going for a hike on the Crow Creek Trail is always a good adventure; if you need a site to stay Americas Best Value Port Polson Inn is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Icefloe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Saint Marys Lake Campground is a wonderful place for that, and McDonald Glacier is a nice location to explore while in the neighborhood. For the period of the summertime highs here at Icefloe Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
