If you are traveling by, why not stop by Ice Pond. A delightful lake like Maney Lake near Ice Pond is a good place to explore, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Upper Whitetail Park Trail. Throughout the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Ice Pond while night lows are usually in the 40's. At Ice Pond you always meet someone from Butte-Silver Bow. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder River, and you can stay the night at Shamrock Campground.
