A delightful site to camp here at Ice Pond is Elk Park Campground, and Holiday Inn Express Butte (Parkside), Mt is a great place to get some rest. Going for a hike along the Upper Whitetail Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and dry warm beds await you at Butte War Bonnet Hotel. Camping is available at Shamrock Campground, and get yourself into a kayak       and hit Boulder River. There are plenty of people from Butte-Silver Bow here at Ice Pond, and since you're here why not stop at Big Gulch. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Ice Pond reach the 70's; the overnight is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Ice Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. Ice Pond is pretty dried out generally; the                  wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while February is generally the driest month. And that's not all you can do here at Ice Pond.
