At Ice Pond all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Ice Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. There are other spots here than Ice Pond, for example Mulkey Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Old Tim Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Blanchard Pond is a delightful lake near Ice Pond, and hiking along the Pattee Ridge Trail is magnificent fun.
