    In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Hyalite Lake is one of them. Hyalite Lake is a location that is relatively arid mostly; during May this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Mulherin Creek is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Hyalite Lake. Lakes are good; Heather Lake is a lake that's right next door to Hyalite Lake. During the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Hyalite Lake. Through the moonlight  
   hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Hyalite Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Palace Butte Campground, and if you need a place to stay Bozeman - Days Inn is a good choice. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff right next door to Hyalite Lake. Going for a hike on the Red Rock Trail is always a magnificent
 
               adventure; the top of Mount Chisholm is easily seen from Hyalite Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Blackmore Campground while you're here at Hyalite Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Bozeman.
You can run the rapids of Yellowstone River in the vicinity of Hyalite Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Palace Lake. Go for a hike on the Pole Gulch Trail, and no need to travel far to go to attention-grabbing stuff like Arch Falls Natural Bridge. A pleasant visit to Horseshoe Basin is a good way to spend an afternoon.
Some close by water includes Maid of the Mist Creek, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Alpine Falls.
