Around Hunters Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; June is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. Throughout the summertime at Hunters Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows at Hunters Lake through the wintertime frequently       plunge into the 10's. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a perfect site to get some rest. Don't leave Hunters Lake without first going for a hike along the Boulder Lakes Trail, and if you came to camp Racetrack Campground is a wonderful location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. An exciting thing to have a look at in the neighborhood of Hunters Lake is Thornton Lake Dam, and you're most likely hooked on lakes, Porcupine                  Lake is one of those nearby. Lakes are fine; Thornton Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Hunters Lake.
