Really great skiing awaits you at Discovery Ski; Hunters Lake is right by the Long Canyon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hunters Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Lost Creek Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and Thornton Lake Dam is not far at all from Hunters Lake. It is very dry here at Hunters Lake mostly; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest       month of the year is February. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge. Summertime highs at Hunters Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hunters Lake.
