The beauty of Hungry Horse Lake attracts many people from all around. Glacier National Park is one of the destinations in the neighborhood of Hungry Horse Lake that are tremendous to go to; close by you hit upon the Alpine Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Doris Creek is a stream that you may run into while here, and if you came to camp Doris Point Campground is a good location to do that. | | much outdoors cool stuff. If you're here, you might as well check out Lion Hill Gorge, and at Hungry Horse Lake you always meet someone from Kalispell.
Hungry Horse Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. Having a great time at Hungry Horse Lake is painless. The Jimmie Ridge Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Hungry Horse Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Flathead River - Middle Fork. the month with most of the rain is November, and July is when it's the driest.
So much exciting stuff to do in the Lewis Range, not enough time. There's so much to do here at Hungry Horse Lake that you need to camp here for a
while, Emery Bay Campground is a good place for that, and going for a hike on the Ousel Peak Trail is always a nice adventure. Summer at Hungry Horse Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down
to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hungry Horse Lake. If you need a place to stay Bad Rock B&B is a pleasant choice.
This lake is so wonderful. You could also
take a look at Lion Lake while you're here at Hungry Horse Lake; it's close by, and while you're here, do take a spree to Abbot Bay. Hungry Horse Lake is not the only place nearby, Hungry Horse Reservoir is a nearby lake, and dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel.
