Dick Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and if you're hooked on cool geologic marks try Alp Rock. Not much rainfall falls here at Huckleberry Lake; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Stillwater River in a kayak; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Republic Trail.       If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Absaroka Range. Soda Butte Campground is a nice campground nearby, and paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Absaroka Range. If you get bored of Huckleberry Lake, you could also stop at close by Companion Lake, and you can stay the night at Colter Campground. At Huckleberry Lake                  through the summer months highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 30's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows at Huckleberry Lake during the winter usually descend into the 0's. Huckleberry Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. All the outdoors fun stuff in close proximity to Huckleberry Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Mount Fox is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Huckleberry Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Pilot Creek Trail.
